Our thoughts on Brexit.
We like to be proactive in our approach to all issues which is why we have been to all corners of the country sourcing information on Brexit.
We have been teaming up with different information groups such as Intertrade Ireland at their event in the beautiful Titanic Centre in Belfast. At this event we were witness to a host of knowledgeable speakers in relation to the implications our customers could face regarding Brexit.
During our attendance at the event we gathered information on how workforces could be affected and the implications which may emerge from this. How we benefit as a country from existing EU trade agreements.
Mr Vincent Power – A & L Goodbody, gave an in depth and very informative speech about the legal ramifications we could be facing from Brexit.
We also were in attendance of the DCU Brexit Institute event, where we heard from Alan Smyth MP on how he felt Brexit “was the defining political issue of our age”.

Although currently there is still some unrest in relation to Brexit and how it will be executed within Ireland, Sandford Freight always like to take a proactive approach to new developments within the industry.
